Submitting a takedown notice

Email us a notice that includes all of the following:

• Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
• Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
• The exact URL on MeriDegree where the material appears.
• A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the copyright owner or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

We review valid notices and normally remove or disable the disputed material within 5 working days, notifying the person who published it.

Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake, send a counter-notice with your contact details, the material's URL, and a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed in error. We may restore the material after review.

Repeat infringers

Accounts or contributors who repeatedly post infringing material lose access to the site.
