How is GPA calculated at GIFT?

GIFT multiplies each course's grade points by its credit hours, adds the results, then divides by the total credit hours attempted in that semester. The maximum GPA is 4.00 and the highest grade, A, carries 4.00 points.

What is a good GPA at GIFT?

A GPA above 3.00 is considered strong at GIFT, 3.50 and above usually qualifies for the Dean's list or merit scholarships, and a GPA below 2.00 normally places a student on academic probation.
